OUR GROUP
WHO WE ARE
BCYD is a chartered chapter of California Young Democrats. It is open to
interested young people ages 13–21 who live in the South Bay of Los Angeles.
We use a broad and inclusive definition of the South Bay. Check our School
Finder to see the cities and schools BCYD serves.
HOW BCYD STARTED
BCYD was founded after the 2024 election to give teenage and young adult
Democrats a voice and a place to find community, learn activism, and grow
into the future leadership of California Democrats.
